Walkin' on Sunshine

It's almost the end of March, hello sun ... where are you?!?!? Since it's yet another dull, cold, rainy, gloomy day, I decided to at least incorporate sunshine (well you know, bright yellow) on here somehow so I least I can pretend I'm being inspired by the sun!

I'll be there for youuuuu ....

In the spirit of my last post about lists I just need to share my love for Friends! I own seasons 1-10, I've watched all 10 seasons straight through almost 3 times plus all the millions of repeats I watch on TV, I DOMINATE Friends Scene It? against ANYONE, sometimes (well a lot) I consider naming my child Emma, and finally any man that wants to propose to me the exact same way Monica and Chandler proposed to each other with the million trillion candles (but minus me proposing to him first) will get a yes! It's a little obsessive really.

I have way too many favorite Friends moments to pick from that I'd want to post videos of. So as hard as it is, I think I'm going to choose the 3 funniest moments (to me anyway) to share! So enjoy ... =)

The One With All the Resolutions
"If the paste matches the pants then you can make yourself a pair of paste pants and she won't know the difference"

The One Where Everybody Finds Out
I don't have a quote, I just like when Ross jumps, it makes me laugh out loud every time!

and finally, my ALL time favorite moment ...

The One With Pheobe's Uterus
"7...7...7...777777...seven"

Thank You For Bein a Friend

Wow I haven't blogged in a long time. I stink! I have been pretty busy, and haven't felt too inspired to blog anyway. But now I have a reason. Megan and I love lists (her probably a lot more than me). So we decided we are going to blog new lists ever week. They are all going to be random. Probably a lot of top 10 stuff. But hopefully it will be pretty interesting to see, and maybe after a while some people will give us ideas for more interesting lists!

I like this week's list a lot. We both schedule a lot of our activities around the opportunity to live vicariously through some of our favorite tv characters. Sometimes television life seems much more interesting than my own. =) So this week's list is ...

TV Besties!!!
Here are my top 10 tv friendships that I have grown to love over the seasons. Enjoy =)

1. Friends
[Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Pheobe, and Joey]
I couldn't pick a favorite in this cast. I love them all and Friends will ALWAYS be my favorite sitcom!!!

2. How I Met Your Mother
[Lily, Marshall, Ted, Robin, Barney]
This group of friends cracks me up! I also love that like Central Perk on Friends, the HIMYM cast has McClarens bar, I wish I lived above somewhere I could hang out with my friends all the time!)

3. Sex and the City
[Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Samantha]
These girls are tried and true New Yorkers. Even though I've sadly never been to New York I know I would find a way to fit in PERFECTLY in the city. I would definitely need a group of girls like this to keep me entertained though! =)

4. One Tree Hill
[Haley and Lucas]
I love that they've been friends forever and no matter what they are always there for each other through all of the drama One Tree Hill has to offer.

5. Dawson's Creek
[Dawson and Joey]
I will have to admit, I'm very glad in the end Joey picked Pacey because I LOVED her and Dawson as friends more than the 2 of them as a couple!

6. Fresh Prince
[Will and Carlton]
Ever since I moved to Ga, I've been best friends with my cousin so I love the relationship of these 2. We're not quite as much of polar opposites as Will and Carlton however, I love that no matter how much they pick on each other, they always stick up for the other.

7. Gossip Girl
[Dan and Vanessa]
It was a hard decision for me on Gossip Girl and I know that now D and V are more than just friends BUT I love the 2 of them together no matter what they are!

8.Grey's Anatomy
[Christina and Meredith]
These 2 have such busy work lives that it's great that no matter what they always have each other to lean on and they spend so much time together they usually can relate to what the other's going through. They will always be each other's "person."

9. Boy Meets World
[Corey and Sean]
Boy Meets World will always be one of the greatest shows. I'm glad that through everything Corey and Sean always stuck together and were basically brothers!

10. I Love Lucy
[Lucy and Ethel]
Lucy and Ethel will always be a classic. I can remember my best friend from Iowa and I watching I Love Lucy reruns on Nick at Night for hours. The friendship of these 2 never ceases to make me laugh!

Well that's all for the first list! Ha there probably won't be as much detail next time but it was still fun to make!

Here Comes the Sun

So this week has seemed like it has lasted FOREVER!! However, I'm very glad to end the week on a good note today with the sun shining!! I feel like I got a lot accomplished today, maybe the good weather was motivating me not to stay in my bed all morning! This weekend is supposed to be really nice too! I think we're going to take Jack (my dog) to the dog park tomorrow, should be pretty interesting!

Anyway, here are some fabulous finds I posted for Friday since I'm stuck here at work on such a nice evening! Enjoy ...

I love this Mad Hatter Painting!
(I made Kyle go see the new Alice in Wonderland with me, I LOVED it as well ... and surprisingly he liked it a lot too)

I love this person's wedding pictures, and I like that her bridesmaids all look different. It just looks more fun!

Finally, I don't ever wear bangles like this because I have a major fear that they will get stuck on my hand but I would own all of these just so they would look beautiful on my wall like this!!! =)

Lunch Lady Land

So most of my friends and family already know that I'm a vegetarian. It all started with this book Skinny Bitch a few girls and I read at work almost 2 years ago. It is a funny approach on all the stuff that people do to animals before we eat them. Not even just animals, but to a lot of non-organic food in general. I liked this book because I didn't feel like it was forcing me to be a vegetarian, but it did have a lot of great ideas! Anyway, long story short ... it's been almost 2 years now and for the most part (minus a few mishaps here and there) I've stuck with it. I still eat fish (meaning I'm a pescatarian) and I eat dairy on occasion, but other than that I don't eat meat (beef, chicken, pork, etc.)

My goal is to start trying to find new recipes for being a vegetarian. One of the vegetarian drawbacks (especially if you're constantly on the go like me) is that you end up eating a lot of the same stuff over and over again. The other day my mom made some DELICIOUS tofu tacos. So this has kind of inspired me to at least look at some new recipes =)

Here's a few recipes (and a Bento Box just because they're fancy) that I have come across on a few vegetarian blogs I've read. Under the pictures I put the link to the blogs to find the recipes! Enjoy!!!!

Papaya, Fennel and Spinach Salad
[Vegan Menu]

Baked Stuffed Tomatoes
[Megan the Vegan]

Smoked Tofu and Mango Summer/Salad Rolls
[Spiced Island Vegan]

Delicious Bento Box
[I only posted this because I think they are a fancy way to eat lunch! I think they'd inspire me to eat healthier too]

Work in Progress

So my blog is going to continue to be a work in progress until I finally figure out what I like! I'm glad I'm finally getting the hang of everything though. I don't have any cool pictures to post today, probably tonight. I just felt obligated to post because it had been so long! Sorry for all the random in between editing stages the past few days, it will get better! Hopefully I'll find some pretty stuff to post tonight!

One last thing, for the record, "Work in Progress" is an Alan Jackson song, so I am still sticking with the song title theme!! =)

Happy Monday!

Vacation's all I ever wanted

Yay, I finally figured out how to make 3 columns!!! It took me a zillion years but thanks to Three Column Blogger I finally made it happen!!! I also changed the header, I'm not sure if I like it yet but we'll see.

Another rainy day today =( but I realized that in less than a month I'll be in Vegas!!

I'm pretty sure this is where we're staying, the Flamingo Hotel on the strip. I'm SO excited!

I don't have much to write today so I guess I'll leave with one of my favorite moments on The Hangover, maybe I'll end up with a tiger in MY bathroom when I wake up in Vegas?!

Labels or Love

Well yesterday I did a bunch of spring cleaning!!! I took the day off work and rearranged my entire room. It took about 5 hours of my day BUT it was completely worth it. My room definitely looks refreshed. Moving my desk by the window really helped!

So now on for TRENDY TUESDAY, every Tuesday I'm going to post some of my favorite new spring (or whatever season it happens to be) trends! You can click on the pictures to go to the sites and check out the trends for yourself!
Enjoy =)

1. This cute knit dress and boyfriend blazer
2. I think I love jackets and shorts this year, I'm glad that the jackets are sticking around for the spring and summer
3. A faux leather vest ads some fun to this cute sun dress
4. And finally a floral skirt, I think it can work for day and night depending on what you wear on top

Well that's all I have for now, hopefully next Tuesday I'll have some more fashion finds!

Put Me In Coach

So far this has been a pretty good weekend. My softball team (12 Pack) played in our 2nd tournament yesterday. It was a BEAUTIFUL day!! It was our 2nd tournament in C class, last year we played D rec (which is basically 2 levels below the class we're in now) and because we did so well last year, they moved us up to the big leagues. All in all we did really well. We took 2nd place overall in the tournament. For our 2nd tourament of the season I'd say that's not to bad! Our next tournament is March 20th, hopefully it will warm up even more by then.

Other than softball, I'm incredibly bored and cooped up at work at the moment so I guess I'll post some fun finds I've come across while surfing the internet.

Enjoy the wonderful Sunday!!!!
